Mentored to publication

Every student gets a research project with mentorship until publication.

Guaranteed submission

Every project is submitted to an international conference.

What you'll master

Ten techniques, one workshop

The methods behind higher-level journals and scientific meetings.

01

AI-assisted meta-analysis

Use AI to speed up screening, extraction and synthesis.

02

Advanced meta-regression

Explore why treatment effects differ between studies.

03

Hartung–Knapp adjustment

More reliable confidence intervals when studies are few.

04

Hedges' g

Standardized effect sizes corrected for small samples.

05

REML estimation

Robust estimation of between-study variance.

06

Bayesian meta-analysis

Combine prior evidence with new data for richer inference.

07

Trial Sequential Analysis

Judge whether the accumulated evidence is conclusive.

08

Diagnostic test accuracy

Pool sensitivity and specificity across studies.

09

Network meta-analysis

Compare multiple interventions in one analysis.

10

Umbrella reviews

Synthesize findings across existing meta-analyses.

+ Subgroup analyses+ Sensitivity analyses+ Multivariable meta-regression
Beyond pairwise

Answer questions a basic meta-analysis can't

Which option works best?

Compare multiple interventions at once with network meta-analysis.

Why do results differ?

Explain heterogeneity with meta-regression, subgroup and sensitivity analyses.

How accurate is a test?

Assess diagnostic performance with DTA meta-analysis.

Is the evidence enough?

Test whether evidence is robust with Trial Sequential Analysis.

What does it all say?

Bring many meta-analyses together in an umbrella review.

“From simply performing a meta-analysis to choosing the right method for the question.”

FAQ

Good questions

Who is this workshop for?

Students and researchers who already understand conventional systematic reviews and meta-analysis and want to move on to more sophisticated evidence synthesis.

How is it different from the Meta-Analysis Masterclass?

The Meta-Analysis Masterclass teaches the foundations. This workshop goes beyond pooled estimates and forest plots to network meta-analysis, TSA, DTA, meta-regression, umbrella reviews and more.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. RC MetaStudio runs advanced R-based analyses without requiring extensive programming experience.

What is RC MetaStudio?

An R-based platform built by RC to perform advanced analyses and generate publication-ready outputs. Workshop attendees get first access.

Will I work on a real project?

Yes. Every student gets a research project with mentorship until publication, and every project is submitted to an international conference.

How is it delivered?

Live on Zoom, with guided, hands-on training and Q&A throughout.

How much does it cost, and when is it?

The workshop fee is $99. Dates for the next cohort will be announced soon, so join the waitlist to hear first.
